Basecamps
Production is an ever-changing and demanding process that requires all support capabilities and talent dressing rooms to be mobile at a moment’s notice. Today, production requires a traveling basecamp with a collection of talent, lighting, grip, costume and other trailers and trucks that needs to be adjacent to the production filming whether it is taking place on the lot or on location. As the size and number of these trucks continue to grow, circulation on the lot becomes critical to efficiencies and safety.
CIRCULATION
Paramount Pictures’ studio lot has grown and changed over the decades. Originally consisting of two powerful studios side by side, RKO to the west and Paramount Pictures to the east, the two sites were never designed to be one single studio. The Hollywood Project is a major investment in circulation allowing equipment and support teams to better navigate the studio property.
